White Tiger

For best results, please read all instructions before beginning project. Refer to photo for color and design placement.

  1. Wipe tiger with damp sponge to remove bisque dust.
  2. Brush one good coat Dark Kiwi to foliage under the tiger.
  3. Wipe back paint with sponge leaving paint in the crevices.
  4. Brush two solid coats Light Kiwi to leaves. Let dry.
  5. Using Liner brush, paint two coats Bright Pink to inner ears, nose and tongue.  Let dry.
  6. Brush two good coats Really White to tiger’s face and body. Let dry.
  7. Brush two good coats Light Aqua inside tiger’s eyes. Let dry.
  8. Using Liner brush, paint fine Black line around eyes and dot in pupil with the Black. Let dry.
  9. Dip sharp end of detail brush in white and dot highlight in black pupil.
  10. Continue detailing around nose, around tongue and teeth with Liner brush. Paint in upper mouth to create dimension. Let dry.
  11. Refer to photo and paint fine Black stripes around eyes, down forehead and cheeks.
  12. Continue painting Black stripes on body using carved areas on body and legs as guide. Let dry and add a second coat. Let dry.
  13. Dilute some Black and paint paws. Wipe back with sponge to antique and bring out detail of toes and nails. Let dry thoroughly.
  14. Brush a coat of Pure Brilliance over tiger and base. Let dry.
  15. Place tiger on kiln shelf and fire to cone 06.
