Instructions

1. Align the pattern on the piece as desired. Place the transfer paper underneath the pattern and transfer onto the piece using the ballpoint pen.

2. Load the No. 8 round brush with EZ 050 Pueblo Purple. Apply the paint loosely to the flowers except for the centers. Allow to dry.

3. Load the No. 8 round brush with EZ 064 Concord Grape to shade the flowers.

4. Load the No. 8 round brush with EZ 018 Chartreuse. Apply to the leaves and bands.

5. Load the No. 8 round brush with EZ 028 Leaf Green. Shade the leaves and bands.

6. Load the No. 8 round brush with EZ 058 Poppy Orange. Apply one coat to the beak and to the flower centers.

7. Load the No. 1 liner brush with EZ 012 Cobalt Jet Black and outline the flowers, leaves, bands and the beak. Apply accents to the flowers, flower centers, leaves, bands, eyes, and beak as shown.

8. Allow the piece to dry thoroughly. Fire to shelf cone 04.

9. Dip in CN 2000D Clear Dipping Glaze.

10. Allow the piece to dry. Stilt the piece and fire to shelf cone 06.
