Teapot For One

Whimiscal and wonderful. Take a tea break and enjoy your creation.

Instructions

1.  Clean greenware. Fire to shelf cone 04.
2.  Remove dust and condition ware, using dampened sponge.
3.  Pour IN 1001 Clear to inside of teapot, lid, and cup enough to roll evenly. Pour out excess.
4.  Draw 3 circles on each side of teapot. Mark off 4 sections and draw 2 lines in each section on cup, using pencil. Refer to photo.
5.  Apply 3 coats of CN 181 Light Kiwi to center of teapot, and ball of lid leaving circles blank, using SB 812 No. 10 Round. Let dry between coats.
6.  Apply 3 coats of CN 172 Bright Kelp to bottom half of lid, handle, and spout, using SB 812 No. 10 Round. Let dry between coats.
7.  Apply 3 coats of CN 113 Dark Delft to top part of lid, using 812 No. 10 Round.
8.  Apply 2 good coats of CN 113 Dark Delft to circles, using 808 No. 4 Round. Let dry.
9.  Apply 3 coats of CN 181 Light Kiwi to 4 sections of cup and handle using 812 No. 10 Round. Let dry between coats.
10.  Apply 3 coats of CN 172 Bright Kelp to 4 sections of cup, using 812 No. 10 Round. Let dry between coats.
11.  Apply 3 coats of CN 113 Dark Delft to last 4 sections of cup and to bottom of cup, using SB No. 10 Round. Let dry completely.
12.  Outline lid between the 2 colors, circles, and stripes on cup, using FD 254 Black Licorice. Let dry.
13.  Apply 1 coat of IN 1001 Clear to teapot, lid, and cup, using 807 No. 6 Fan Glaze.
14.  Let dry. Stilt and fire cone 06.
