Let it Snow Green Christmas Tree

Create a realistic looking holiday tree when you add Duncan® Fired Snow to the tips of the green branches! Then add the lights and you’ve got a fun holiday tree to enjoy year after year.

  1. Wipe ware with damp sponge to remove bisque dust.
  2. To the base of the Christmas Tree using Fan Glaze brush, apply three coats Really Red.  Let dry.
  3. Apply one to two coats Pure Brilliance Clear over the Really Red using Fan Glaze brush. 
  4. Pour both greens into separate paper cups and stir. 
  5. Use Fan Glaze brush to apply one coat Leaf Green to the tree. Allow to dry.
  6. Use Fan Glaze brush to apply one coat Bottle Green over the drying Leaf Green.
  7. After the Bottle Green has dried, apply an additional coat of Leaf Green over the tree. Allow glaze coats to dry.
  8. Thoroughly stir the Fired Snow. By stirring this product thorough the color with smooth out and become slightly more fluid and easier to use.
  9. Using Round brush and Palette Knife, thickly and heavily build up the snow on tips of the trees. Remember too thin of an application with generate more bluing of the Fired Snow.  Snow should be randomly applied. Allow to dry.
  10. Stilt both pieces and fire to shelf cone 06.
  11. Place the plastic lights in holes on tree.
  12. Wire the base according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
