Cozy Sweater Mugs

Wrap up yourself in cozy creativity with the Duncan® Oh Four cozy sweater mugs! Swipe a little color on and then back off for a unique effect that makes these mugs look soft and inviting for your next warm beverage.

  1. Wipe mug with damp sponge to remove bisque dust.
  2. Tape around raised textured area of mug.
  3. Brush three coats Really Red to textured area. Let dry.
  4. Use damp sponge to wipe back paint leaving paint inside crevices of texture. Let dry.
  5. Remove masking tape.
  6. Place mug on kiln shelf and fire to cone 06.
  7. Pour some Pour Brilliance inside mug and roll around to coat sides.
  8. Brush two coats to base, mug and handle. Let dry.
  9. Stilt on kiln shelf and fire to cone 06.

  • Potter’s sponge
  • Container for water
  • Masking tape, ¾” or 1”
